At present, the single-stage two-phase three-lock integrated torque converter composed of pump wheel, turbine and guide wheel is widely used in automobiles. The pump wheel and turbine are basin shaped. The pump wheel is connected with the torque converter housing and is an active component; The turbine is suspended in a torque converter and connected to the output shaft by splines and is a driven element. The guide wheel is suspended between the pump wheel and the turbine and is secured to the gearbox housing by a one-way clutch and guide wheel shaft sleeve. After the engine starts, the crankshaft drives the pump wheel to rotate, and the centrifugal force generated by the rotation causes the working fluid between the pump wheel blades to be thrown out along the blade from the inner edge to the outer edge. This part of the working fluid not only has a circumferential component speed with the rotation of the pump wheel, but also an axial component speed towards the turbine. These working fluids hit the turbine blades, pushing the turbine to rotate in the same direction as the pump impeller.
